Beach Week

The boys and I did our first adventure this week. I decided we'd officially close out the summer with one last trip to the beach.

First we made Sand Pail Cake and enjoyed it for dessert after Hawaiian chicken on Monday:

On Tuesday we made "beach in a jar:"

Wednesday was our outing to the beach with Rodger and Janice. While we were there I used the sand to make molds of the boys' feet to fill with plaster.

Then today we just colored some fish.

We also made a couple trips to the library to pick up some great beach books and we learned some new fish songs. We also worked on a new memory verse: "Praise the Lord from the earth, you great sea creatures and all the deeps." (Ps. 148:7)
