After a 5-month and 2-snow-day delay, Charlie went back to preschool this week. And Charlie going back to school = CHARLIE IS POTTY TRAINED. This is a huge victory; it's been a long, 9-month journey for us.
He's back at the same school where he went last year and goes twice a week. He seemed to enjoy his first week. His teacher said he was a little quiet, but did well. He tells me about his friends and the toys he plays with. On Thursday he got to bring a toy for show and tell, and he chose to bring Nate's Mickey Mouse doll that he's become very attached to.
Nate was very disappointed when we dropped Charlie off on his first day and he realized he didn't get to stay. He started crying when we left and kept saying, "I want to stay at school!" He was so upset, but settled down when we got home and enjoyed the time to play with all his toys without Big Brother grabbing from him.
