Watch out world, I'm playing catch up on the blog!
Having two boys means that bumps and bruises are not uncommon around here, but at the end of last year we were officially initiated in the broken bone and stitches clubs. Within just a few weeks of each other, Nate fell and broke his collarbone, and Charlie fell and hit his head on the coffee table. Ouch! Both have fully recovered, however it was pretty traumatic at the time. Nate was in significant pain for the first 24 hours, but after that we we constantly find him with his sling up past his elbow. Charlie was so brave at the ER, but was pretty concerned that he had lost a chunk of his head because the gash was so big. He thought a chunk of his brain was gone. :( Both have healed up well. Charlie still has a pretty good scar on his forehead, but the doctor did a great job stitching him up, so it doesn't look too bad.
