November through April is a crazy busy time for Dave working and traveling with the Mavs, so when he had a couple days off in a row in March we went away to a little house in NW Fort Worth and had some precious family time. The house was built 80-something years ago on a dairy farm. The area around it is being built up, but it still sits on 2-acres that sometimes welcomes dear and other wildlife. We love just hanging out there, reading, watching movings, playing games and playing outside. We also visited the Fort Worth Nature Preserve where we got to see buffalo and prairie dogs and enjoyed some nice hikes. It was a really special time of peace and quiet for us during a very busy season.
