home sweet home - UPDATED

***Updated 6/18*** We got the signed offer last night, so now we're officially under contract! Whoohoo! We'll do our inspection on Friday, and then the option period ends on Tuesday. At this point, we're the only ones who can back out for any reason.

It's been a long few weeks, but we have our new home! The first house we put an offer on last week did not pan out, and at the time we were feeling pretty discouraged. So we went back out to look at houses on Saturday and actually found two we loved. Today we put an offer on one and they accepted it this afternoon!! I'm so happy that they agreed to so quickly. Unfortunately, the husband is out of town, so he cannot sign the contract until tomorrow, so we're still holding our breath a little until then. But it sounds like they are just as happy that we're buying it as we are, because they had a previous offer fall through and they close on their new house at the end of the month. The best news is that we are able to close before we have to get out of our current house, so we can move directly into our new house and avoid doing any storage. Whoohoo!

We're so happy with the house. We can really picture our family living there for many years to come. Here's a sneak preview:
