Feeding time

Whew! I am surfacing again after surviving our move. The move went very well, and we're thrilled to be in our new house. We did have a little panic on closing day because there were some delays with the paperwork, and we were beginning to fret that we would not be able to close that day. That was super stressful because that was Thursday, July 3, meaning otherwise we wouldn't close until Monday, July 7, because of the holiday weekend (we had to be out of our old house July 6). Thankfully, we closed that day and were able to keep everything on schedule. Other than that, everything has gone very well. We have all the necessities unpacked, but there are still boxes everywhere, as there probably will be for months.

Our backyard has a Koi pond, so we're trying to learn the ins and outs of it before it turns into a green, murky mess and we kill the fish! Here's Dave doing our first feeding.

So far the dogs and Charlie have showed little interest in it, which we are very thankful about. We were afraid the dogs would develop a taste for sushi and jump in after the fish. But so far, so good!
