Nashville Road Trip

I'm finally getting around to posting pictures of our first family road trip in July. We had a great time. The boys were pretty good travelers, even if out of the 24+ hours we spent in the car over the course of the week, only one boy slept only one hour. That means we watched a lot of DVDs. We spent one night in Memphis, a few nights with Dave's aunt and uncle in Nashville, and a night in Arkansas on our way back. So we were grateful for only two nights in a hotel.

Visiting Keeney graves in Mt. Pleasant
(Isn't it so precious how Dave and Charlie are posed the same?)

Ribs at Rendezvous in Memphis

Peabody in Memphis

Fire Museum in Memphis. The boys could have spent days there. They had a couple old fire trucks inside that the kids could climb all over.

All the second cousins

Visiting Nana

Learning to play solitaire with Aunt Roxann

Our wonderful hosts: Uncle Larry and Aunt Roxann

Another highlight: the US Space and Rocket Center in Huntsville, AL

We ate our fair share of BBQ on this trip, and this was my favorite in Decatur, AL
