We had our two-week well-baby visit with the pediatrician this morning and he got another good report. At two weeks they like the baby to be back to its birth weight to make sure they're eating well enough. Well, Charlie weighed in at 10 lbs 10 oz!! That's one pound over his birth weight and almost 1 1/2 lbs more than he was at his 4-day appointment. So needless to say he's eating well!
He continues to be such a good baby. He's even slept for 5-6 hour blocks a couple nights, so we're hoping that will continue. He's starting to have a little more awake time, which has also meant a little more fussy time, but even then he's not that bad. Lately he's developed this super cute little noise that sounds like a combination of clearing his throat, a little giggle and a tiny grunt. It's kind of chimpmunk-y, and so precious.
Hard to believe two weeks have passed already! We're having so much fun with him.
