It seems like just yesterday Charlie was standing on his own. Wait a second... it was yesterday! Last night, my parents came over to babysit Charlie while Gretchen and I finally went out for my birthday dinner at the Palm. Gretchen told them that if Charlie walked while we were gone not to tell us. Then as we were about to head out the door my dad suggested that Charlie needed to walk before we left so we wouldn't miss it. Taking his cue, Charlie took four steps on his own to his Grandaddy. While I didn't get the first steps on tape I did get the next few attempts. Here's a short music video.

WOW - he learns fast!!! Great video - looks very professional! Watch out now, things really change - but it's FUN!
That is pretty cool that you were all there to witness it. It is funny because I don't even remember Katherine's first steps anymore. I know I blogged about it and ahve a video somewhere though. Watch out, things get really fun now.
